Benefactors of UL Foundation who supported scholarships and bursaries totaling €400,000 for UL students were invited to a special award ceremony on campus on Monday, February 10th, 2025.
Hosted by UL Interim Provost & Deputy President, Professor Ann Ledwith, the recipients received their awards at the event and had the opportunity to meet with the donor companies and individuals supporting their educational journey. Speaking at the event, which was also attended by UL Chancellor Professor Brigid Laffan and Founding UL President Dr Ed Walsh, Professor Ledwith hailed the student receiving scholarships as “our future ambassadors, and the best advocates for UL and indeed for Limerick and the Mid-West region.”
Professor Ledwith offered thanks to our benefactors, continued success to our students, and congratulations to all for having the resilience and the belief to drive UL forward.
