The University of Limerick is making an urgent humanitarian appeal to graduates and friends to support displaced Palestinian students through the Gaza Scholarship Initiative. These students have been forced to flee unimaginable hardship, and UL, together with other Irish educational institutions, is committed to offering them a safe environment where they can continue their education and rebuild their futures.
Lead by Professor Ronni Greenwood, Association VP for Student Engagement, UL’s initiative aims to provide secure accommodation, essential living support, and access to academic opportunities. Every donation sends a powerful message of solidarity and hope, helping these young people live with dignity and pursue their dreams.
The UL Foundation is working with UL and UL Sanctuary to facilitate fundraising efforts, ensuring that 100% of your gift will go directly toward students’ living costs—including food, housing, and clothing. Alumni and friends of UL are invited to stand with us in offering a lifeline to those who need it most.
