Celebrating Loretta Brennan Glucksman: Honoured with the TK Whitaker Award

We are thrilled to congratulate UL Foundation board member and philanthropist Loretta Brennan Glucksman, who was honoured at the 2025 Business & Finance Awards last night in Dublin. Loretta received the prestigious TK Whitaker Award for Outstanding Contribution to Public Life.

Established in 2016 to mark the centenary of Dr. TK Whitaker – renowned economist and civil servant credited with shaping Ireland’s economic future – the award recognises individuals who have made a profound impact on society.

Loretta was celebrated for her exceptional dedication to Ireland’s cultural legacy, progress in education, and initiatives for lasting peace.

Presenting the award, An Taoiseach Micheál Martin remarked: “Loretta, this award, named for TK Whitaker, is symbolic of the way you yourself work; your discretion and your humility have been constant qualities as you have consistently and generously supported the island of Ireland and her people.”

The event, held at the Convention Centre Dublin, on 11 December 2025, welcomed over 1,100 leaders, including Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, who received the Sutherland Leadership Award, and members of Ireland’s business community. Broadcaster Pat Kenny served as MC for the evening.

The late Eddie Jordan, founder of Jordan Grand Prix and celebrated entrepreneur, was posthumously honoured with the 2025 Outstanding Contribution to Ireland Award.
