Harvey Duthie joins the Foundation as CEO having spent almost twenty years in fundraising. He also serves as Vice President Development for the University of Limerick. Originally from Ballinasloe, he has worked on a range of major global fundraising campaigns, including for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Africa Centres for Disease Control, Oxford University, Diocese of Westminster, UNHCR, Singapore Management University, St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth, Stonyhurst College and many others.
He has also served in an array of voluntary roles, including Founding Board Director of Fundraising Ireland, Pro-Bono Fundraising Counsel to ActionAid’s Global Secretariat, Fundraising Committee Member for The Passage, a homeless shelter in London, and as a mentor for the UK’s Institute of Fundraising.
Harvey is a Finance graduate of Maynooth University (BA Economics, Finance and French), a keen open water swimmer and enthusiastic long-distance runner.
